Arescosmo manufactures stabilizers for controlling trajectory, stability and precision launch systems. Air stabilizers are fitted to the torpedo tail to slow down the torpedo’s speed during flight so that it enters the water at the predicted linear and angular speed.
After impact with the water, the stabilizer remains attached to the torpedo to prevent it from sinking and only separates once the propulsion system has been activated.
